Which OEMs are the most popular with Australian car buyers across New and Used stock types?
Mazda is now the most popular OEM for new car enquiries across 5 of the 8 Australian states and territories on Australia’s number 1 auto classifieds website; carsales.com.au.
Western Australia was the only state or territory where Mazda did not make the top 5.
Last year’s most popular Australian OEM for new car enquiries, Ford, still retains leadership in Victoria and Western Australia, while relinquishing New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Volkswagen slipped from first to third in Tasmania, while entering the top 5 in New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and Queensland.
With years of popular domestically-produced models and sales leadership, Toyota, Holden and Ford predictably dominate used car enquiries, with Nissan
occupying fourth position in Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania and Northern Territory.
