New vehicle sales were again soft last month with 84,708 sales recorded during November 2019, a 9.8 per cent decrease on the same month last year.
On a year-to-date basis, total sales for 2019 have been recorded as 978,628 units, an 8.2 per cent decrease on year-to-date 2018.
None of the mainstream automotive brands enjoyed year-on-year sales gains last month, the one exception being Kia, which occupies 5th spot for the month, while Mercedes-Benz outsold Holden.
The Korean brand’s new Seltos small SUV added 898 sales and Cerato continued its run of sales growth up 21.3% on the same month last year.
